A new Civil Service Exam is scheduled to take place September 20, 2025. Please review the document below if you are interested in taking the exam. This document contains details about salaries, application requirements, minimum qualifications, and filing. All individuals who register to complete the exam will receive a complimentary Cooper Standard training session to prepare them for the physical agility portion of the test.
The last date to file an application is August 21, 2025. A complete application is considered part of the examination process. Please download and complete the Police Officer application packet and the Port Jervis Civil Service application, and submit them with the exam fee to Civil Service prior to the August 21st deadline.
