Multiple Search Warrants Executed on Front Street Addresses – Crack Cocaine Seized
On February 4th, 2019 during the late evening hours, members of the Port Jervis City Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group executed Port Jervis City Court Search Warrants upon premises located at 155 Front Street and 159 Front Street located in the 4th Ward section of the City of Port Jervis.
The following persons were arrested and charged with drug related offenses subsequent to this operation.
Eulises Rosado, age 49, of 155 Front Street, was charged with five counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell (B Felony), four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class B Felony), and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a Class C Felony. Rosado was arraigned in City Court and remanded to Orange County Jail without Bail pending further court appearances.
Anthony Paraway, age 26, of 159 Front Street, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a class C Felony. Paraway was arraigned in City Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of 7,500.00 bail pending further court appearances.
Chaelese Brown, age 28, of 159 Front Street was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree with Intent to Sell, a class B Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (C Felony) and Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Brown was arraigned in City Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000.00.
During the execution of the search warrants, detectives recovered approximately 23 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale, digital scales, and a quantity of United States Currency.
The arrests are the result of an undercover investigation conducted by the Port Jervis City Police Department into the illicit sales of crack cocaine originating in the Front Street area of the City of Port Jervis over the last several months assisted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task, Town of Deerpark Police and the Pike County Drug Task Force.
The case is being prosecuted by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
